The Matt Masters 30 Day Challenge... Are you ready?

Matt Masters. Country and western singer. Storyteller and myth builder. A true western gentleman for the 21st Century. Matt confirmed his commitment to his craft when he embarked on an ambitious 100-show tour in celebration of the Alberta Centennial. Traveling from Fort McMurray to Pincher Creek, he logged 25,000 kilometres and performed for tens of thousands of Albertans and visitors alike in the summer of 2005. Matt's Centennial tour made national headlines and earned praise from the Mayor of Calgary, the Premier of Alberta and even the Prime Minister for his work promoting traditional Western Canadian music. Now Matt Masters takes his challenge locally – playing 30 live shows in 30 days and challenging the rest of Calgary to play along side, kicking off the March Music Series.

The Matt Masters 30 Day Challenge will profile and encourage local artists in Calgary, applaud audience support, and raise funding for the Music Lives Here Legacy Initiative. Community halls, shopping malls, airport stages, legions, office staff rooms and venues get ready – soon you’ll be saying: Music Lives Here!
