Danielle receives a Canada Council Grant to Produce & Direct a Short Film to her song ‘Time to Kill’

“I have just received a very generous grant under the new Alberta Creative Development Initiative administered by the Canada Council for the Arts to produce and direct a short film to my Tom Waits-inspired song Time to Kill.

One of the priorities of this particular grant is to assist Alberta artists who are working in new or innovative arts practices within or across artistic disciplines. I received this grant based on my history as a musician expanding into the realm of filmmaking. Having produced and directed my first low budget short film Avalon which appears as a DVD enhancement on my latest CD release Shadows, I am looking forward to working with a full production budget to produce and direct Time to Kill.
