I am very excited to announce that my photography has been included in an upcoming group gallery show at the Arthouse Gallery in an exhibit entitled Eight (2).
I will be exhibiting a series of six photo enlargements which I took at Coney Island while I was on tour in New York in 2007. The series is called "Coney Island Baby", named after a Tom Waits song.
This exhibit also features the work of Claudia Lorenz, Barb Kelsall, Carolyn Frayn, Leah Brandt, Jose Guillen, Trish Boyko, and Ashley Bristowe.
I would like to invite you to join me for the opening reception on:
Friday, November 20, 2009 from 5:00 - 10:00 pm at the Arthouse Gallery: 1043 - 19 Avenue SE (Inglewood).
All artists will be in attendance (and there will be lots of wine)
** IMPORTANT NOTE: Do NOT park directly across the street from the gallery, apparently the neighbours are extremely uptight about anyone parking in their space and you may be towed!
If you can't make the opening reception, the show runs for one week Friday, November 20th - 28th 2009. Gallery hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm and Saturday 10am - 2pm.
