"Nashville House" Available To SOCAN Members
If you are visiting Nashville to further your songwriting career/craft and are looking for accommodations from 6 days to 2 weeks, have a look at Nashville House. Nashville house is a private home that has made two rooms available to SOCAN members.
SOCAN writers can stay either six days from a Monday to a Sunday or they can stay two weeks from Monday to Sunday. They can bring a spouse or partner (or parent) who is not a SOCAN member. There is a maximum in each room of two people.
There are two rooms available. One is a small apartment with kitchen and bath and separate entrance. The other is more like a hotel room with bath and separate entrance. Each room is represented by its own calendar on the website.
The house is privately owned by SOCAN members Lee Ann and Daryl Burgess, who also live in the house. It is about 5 minutes by car to the famous Bluebird Cafe.
The house is in a nice area of town overlooking a little valley in a place called Forest Hills.
Each room has a coffee maker, CD player, television and telephone for local calls ( writers can bring a calling card for long distance).
There are some photos on the website http://www.socanwriternashville.com
